Exposure Therapy for Anxiety & OCD
When we are afraid of something, our instinct is often to avoid it. Unfortunately, this ultimately leads to increased fear and anxiety. With exposure therapy, you will be supported as you build up to facing your fears and decreasing avoidance of experiences that you perceive as scary. She can help you with any fear, including social situations, presentations, crowds, and heights. Exposure therapy can also help you target Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
DBT is a treatment that helps you to identify emotions and associated urges. Often we engage in problem behaviors in an attempt to cope with our emotions. These problem behaviors often make the situation worse. Dr. Rottenberg can help you identify your emotions and urges and reduce the likelihood of engaging in problem behaviors. This involves learning skillful ways to replace unhelpful behaviors. DBT-informed therapy can be helpful for individuals who would like to improve mindfulness skills, reduce the frequency of intense emotional reactions, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. This treatment modality includes individual therapy, group therapy, and phone coaching.
